Yellow River, the Wild River

The Yellow River is the second longest river in China that has the particularity to be very rich in a type of mud formed from the erosion of rocks of the great Chinese plains. The river is filled with yellow sand that ends up giving this color to the river.

To prevent the river from rising too much because of this excess mud and sand, the Chinese government decided to "empty" the river in the Yellow Sea. Millions of cubic meters of water are dumped, this way, getting rid of the excess mud of the river.
