The Colorful Azaleas in Japan


Shiofune Kannon-ji is a 1,300 years old Buddhist temple in Ome City, Japan.The temple is surrounded by hills covered with bushes of azalea.
Between April and May, the hills are covered with the colors of 20,000 bushes in full bloom.
The azalea festival is held during this period and the temple is visited by thousands of tourists who come to enjoy the view.
